More about Hybrids
So …. yesterday I got paid by Today.com … much faster now that I have signed up for PayPal and don’t have to wait for Canada Post to get my cheque to me.
And once I had that money sitting in my payPal account, I sent off payment for an autographed copy of Hybrids, by Robert Sawyer. Great gift, I thought.
Hope it is true that it’s the thought that counts - cuz while we were in Peterborough today, we had a bit of time to kill and guess which were the only Robert Sawyer books we found in the third bookstore we went into? *sigh* I tried to hide it behind the others - which were Hominids and Humans, the ones we already have… but he found it and bought it anyway. The stinker! He NEVER buys books for himself. Well, except for this time!
So now we will have two copies of Hybrids - oh well…at least that should mean I actually get to read it!
Although I suppose it wouldn’t hurt to check if they’ve already signed/mailed the one I ordered… if not, maybe they’d let me exchange it for another one… hmmm…
Men are so inconsiderate :)! Lee does this sort of thing to me all the time.
I finally got my four Sawyer novels that I ordered from Amazon (not Hybrids). Started on Hominids last night. It is so far quite interesting.
Oh, no! What are the odds? I’ve never heard of that author . . . must go check it out.
